Laboratory of personal and domestic autonomy
Our Cozy for you socio-educational center offers disabled children a great experience of growth through a path of personal and domestic autonomy.
The laboratory of personal and domestic autonomy will educate children to take care of themselves, their health and their appearance.
Education in autonomy is essential to recognize and be recognized as great. Acquiring greater autonomy is important for the inclusion in social and professional contexts of young people and adults with specific difficulties.
With this workshop, participants will develop specific skills for carrying out daily activities such as preparing lunch, making beds and shopping. They will learn to live in community, sharing common spaces and experiences.
These activities are of considerable importance for increasing motor-praxis skills, as well as developing planning skills.
The laboratory of personal and domestic autonomy was born as a response to the great need to promote independent and autonomous living for people with disabilities.
The laboratory of personal and domestic autonomy is open to all and is free for young people from 14 to 35. It is co-funded by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Department for Youth Policy and Universal Civil Service under the Action and Cohesion Plan Notice "Youth for the Enhancement of Public Goods 2018."
Participation in this workshop is preparatory to enrollment in our inclusive bistro workshop, because you will acquire all the basic skills to be able to embark on a career path in the restaurant industry.
